i want to use an actual google map of new zealand on my website showing the entire country where people can zoom in and explore the different cities

what i have tried is went to maps.google.co.nz and just above where the google map of new zealand is displayed i clicked on the Link at the top right corner and from the pop up selected custom and specified the width and height which is available at
http://sudhakargolakaram.co.in/map.jpg

as you can see the width is 700px and for my page the width will be less than 700px also in terms of the clarity and quality of the map it is not very clear.

my question is are there any javascript plugins or some other alternatives i can use where i can show a similar type map of new zealand with a very good quality of the map for users to see and explore

i am using joomla cms are there any modules for this

please advice.
