Hi,

I've just started on working with PHP and MySql. PHP is embedded in Apache. I've tried everything now but MySql keeps coming up with the same massage: FATAL ERROR: Maximum execution time exceeded at line ....! There has been a search on a database, myswl reports that it has found a number of rows but doesn't display them only the same error. Anyone got an idea on how to get rid of this fatal error?

Thanx in advance,

Hi

Does this always happen after a constant amount of time?

you can try to edit your php3.ini and change the max_execution_time = 30 to something bigger but it sounds like a diffrent problem to me.

Any chance of a buggy script or faulty query? did you check the MySql log?
