I would suggest using a prepacked content system like joomla or drupal. They can offer a lot right out of the box and are very extendible with lots of modules.

Chances of success with will proportionate to what you put into it. Start with your local community and grow awareness of what it is you offer from there. there are too many websites offering too many things for yours to simply standout from the crowd.
I agree with you.......Thanks lot for good advise in this post..........

Hi there,

I struggled too in the beginning. I found a website that promoted Wordpress to work with, which I did. Not bad, but in my opinion a bit limited.

There are many software programs to create good websites. I use Kompozer. Easy to use and free.

If you want more info, I found this by a Internet MArketer Chris Farrell who explains in his free videos exactly how to build your site. I had my doubts , but after seeing him , I'm a huge fan.

Watch out for the so called gurus because they hide their secrets, but this Brittain guy Chris Farrell explains it all. Feel free to visit his site.

Success

You also can use web design software to design your site. There net.For PersonalWebKit software example I am using many software available on the many templates from which you will base the design comes with .. Each template different colors, banners, backgrounds and text styles comes. Anything you a banner background templates as permission to use your own digital photos. You add your own text banner background at the top of your website will make its own graphical banner.
