i have wamp installed on my pc and i have installed putty

using putty how can i connect to the wamp server installed on my machine so that i can execute sql queries from the command prompt and navigate through folders

also how do i save the information using putty, when i enter
127.0.0.1 as ip address and port as 2222 i have also tried 22 and when i click on save this information is not being saved i have other profiles set up which ever profile name is select i see that same ip address so how do i add ip address so that i can click on the Load button and then click Open to use putty

Hi,

Have you enabled your firewall on your local machine? If so try to disable your firewall and make a try.

why do you need putty if its all local on the machine. You can just open the command prompt and run mysqld to access the server. Or better yet, install some of the free mysql graphical tools to manage the db or just install phpmyadmin?
