Java has a wider range of more difficult application. It learn. If you know Perl, you can choose at any time anyway.PHP PHP can handle your 'systemcalls' to C, and can handle the amount of resources if XML.There You have a problem, a lot of online tutorials to help you get started, there are many forums to help PHP debugging and support.
